Kentucky Haus Artisan Center located inside Kentucky Pickens at the Newport Levee is pleased to announce the following:
Pre-Valentine's Day Concert:
Saturday, February 4 - 1:00-3:00pm - Raison D'Etre Trio Concert - Violet Rae Webster, Vickie Ellis and Roberta Schultz will perform selections from their Hearts Contents CD. The trio provide a combination of traditional, spiritual, sentimental journey, western, and a capella. The concert is free and open to the public.
Pre-Valentine's Day Bourbon & Chocolate Food Tasting:
Saturday, February 11 - Noon-6:00pm - - "Kentucky ProudT Food Tasting" featuring Kentucky ProudT bourbon and chocolate food items from Applecreek Orchards, Bourbon Barrel Foods, Ruth Hunt Candies and Weisenberger Mills. The Tasting is free and open to the public.
Celtic Concert:
Saturday, February 18 - 1:00-3:00pm - Nancy Bick Clark and Frank Clark will entertain guests with a selection of Celtic and original tunes featuring the bodhran, Celtic harp, dulcimer, recorder and vocal. Concert is free and open to the public.

Saturday the 28th we will host an open drum circle with Bob Laake. Drums provided everyone welcome . The circle is from 2-3 PM

Spiritual Radio Show! This Sunday’s topic……REINCARNATION
A friend of the shop is hosting a new radio show and we are passing on the info for all who may want to listen and participate.

The 2012 Winter Celebration at Turfway Park |

The 2012 Winter Celebration at Turfway Park will be held on the evening of Friday, February 17th in the Racing Club high atop the grandstand. The room opens at 5:00 with the first race at 5:30. Attendees have their choice of a chicken, steak or fish dinner. There will be a cash bar. Please come to enjoy the company of those at your table and the activities at Turfway. It's a great opportunity for a "night out" and to socialize with some new friends. The cost of the evening is $50.00 per person with proceeds benefiting the Tuition Assistance fund at Holy Trinity. Tuition Assistance allows Holy Trinity to accept families who could not otherwise afford the full tuition costs. Please contact Holy Trinity at 859-292-0487 and ask to be added to the guest list. You can send payment along with your choice of dinner to Holy Trinity School, 840 Washington Ave., Newport, KY 41071. Checks should be made payable to HT Tuition Assistance.  Businesses or families who would like information about sponsoring the Winter Celebration, sponsoring a race, advertising opportunities, or sitting in one of two “president’s boxes” are encouraged to call Jeff Finke at the school (859-292-0487).
